New Zealand's COVID-19 Protection Framework (Traffic Lights) has ended
with case numbers low

With case numbers low, it is safe to remove most COVID -19 rules BUT...

Kia Mataara – we still must be vigilant.

ISOLATION AND FACE MASKS

Isolation

Isolation is the main tool to limit the spread of the virus.  It is the most effective way to keep case numbers low.  Everyone who tests positive for the virus must isolate for 7 days

Please do a rapid antigen (RAT) Test if you have COVID -19 symptoms and remember to report your results whether they are positive or negative.

You can report your results by

  • calling helpline at 0800 222 478 and choose option 3

  • report your own results online through My Covid Record

  • go to Unite against Covid - 19 website  https://covid19.govt.nz/ for help

Wearing a Mask

You are only required to wear a mask in certain healthcare facilities, such as hospitals.  Some places may continue to ask people to wear a face mask.

In looking after our whānau particularly our kaumatua, and those who are sick we should be careful and keep them safe by wearing a mask.
